The Stl'mstaliwa Project is helping empower community through connectivity.

Microsoft recently embarked on a rewarding journey with the Nuxalk Nation to empower the community to connect with their deep culture and language through a modern digital medium. 

Led by Laaqymays and the Nuxalk Nation and supported by cross-team collaboration from Microsoft, the project saw the development of hundreds of short videos regarding Stl’mstaliwa, a term that translates roughly in English to “The Full Human Experience”. 

These videos make traditional Nuxalk knowledge accessible to the Nuxalk Nation.”
